I enjoy the structure and challenge of origami. Taking the medium of paper folding and adding sewing the paper creates a new complexity to the pieces.

Paper Pinwheels, Lights, mixed media 2021

I was invited to create an interactive display at the Highlands Community Garage in 2021. The Highlands community helped to create over 100 paper pinwheels. The pinwheels were then arranged along with tealights on a grid to spell "HOPE". Community members hung messages of hope from strings inside the installation.
